Ambiance: The space is cozy yet and perfect for a casual meal or a special occasion. The staff is friendly and attentive, ready to make suggestions if you're unfamiliar with the menu. Taste: Flavour is well balanced and definitely not lack of wok hei. Ordered the brinjal, braised pork and their signature stir fried cabbage.

Really huge menu with very satisfying food. My friend thinks the food was not all made in-house because of how consistent the flavors and textures of the food are, but she's very cynical. Quite certain there is a lot of MSG though. Definitely hits the spot if you feel like Hunan food. Recommend the cabbage specifically, but everything was predictably tasty. Loved the cold appetizers (tofu skin one is so good with beer!), and the hot-stone venison dish was full of flavor and not overly chewy. Nothing fancy about the food, but all is exactly as it should taste (which is why my friend wonders if the food is actually made in-house).

06/05 - Still the best I’ve tasted !! My favorite is still the stir-fried cabbage with pork belly. It’s a dish that you could eat actually on its own, with rice of course. The best Hunan dishes I’ve tasted !! I would even vouch for their dishes over those in China. The stir fried cabbage with pork belly is to die for. I’ve religiously eaten the same since they open their doors for business in Old Klang Road. This is a new branch.

Great food with reasonable price. Can ask for less spicy if your spicy-tolerance is low, but the mala crayfish even though asked for less spicy still way too spicy for myself personally. They have private rooms as well with a minimum spending. 6 of us the bill came out to be RM500+ which is quite OK.

Price is slightly on the higher side. RM112 for one fish slices sour vege soup, 4pcs of fried potato, fried beans, ma po taufu and two bowls of rice. I would say sour vege soup was kinda disappointing as not much of fragrant found in it. Supposed to have fragrance from 花椒 (pepper) but its just bland. Not much of fish slices though, just enough for 2pax. Fried potato and fried beans were nice. Ma po taufu is alright. Do note that the restaurant no longer serve steamboats. Only ala carte. The managing staff was quite alert, he saw that I’m concerned about the flies flying near window and he suggested me to switch to seats further away from windows. And soon he went around the area killing flies and wiping windows. GOOD JOB in maintaining the cleanliness!

Dining area and environment is less hectic n feels more premium compared to the other branches. Food are standard across other branch. But its rather difficult to find a parking in this area
